G'day, we live in KATHERINE NT, NORTHERN TERRITORY of Australia, with the  magnificent Nitmiluk Katherine Gorge on our doorstep.

We'll just boil the billycan for a nice cuppa while you peruse our website.

You won't find the icon touristy photos you would normally see on other webs (Ok it has a few), it's more about getting away from it all and seeing what is hidden out there in "Australia's Top End" and best of all lots of relaxing places that cost nothing to sit at and watch the water go by.

View parts of the Top End of the Northern Territory and Western Australia through our eyes as we go camping for a week or two or do a bushwalk in various locations around the bush.

Now even if (like many) you just intend to grab a quick bite & a cuppa & sit under a shady tree along the Stuart Highway just outside of Katherine as your itinerary gives you enough time for, you'd be mad not to at least go the extra 4.5 km loop along Zimin Drive (just north of town) or along the Victoria Highway end and cruise on down with your van to the Low Level Nature Reserve and watch the Katherine River go by... you never never know, may even stay an extra hour & have a dip as well and be really refreshed for the rest of your journey. (Go on.... mark it down as it is freedom at its best that you just cannot see or experience from a petrol bowser)

Over the years we have written a story for "Get up & Go" Magazine (for retirees) about our great "free" spots to see in Katherine and had welcome messages to other Countries people like the Japanese welcome (on right) and photos feature in many articles.
